Magic Smile Int. reported the results of a recent survey conducted among its customers trying to evaluate the influence of using Hydrogen Peroxide in the process of whitening teeth. The survey analyzed the reaction of more than 100 customers to different strength of whitening agent contains Hydrogen Peroxide in one hand and to repeating treatments on the other hand.

According to the results of it has been found significantly that repeating treatments using low strength Hydrogen Peroxide based whitening agents as over the counter teeth whitening products can cause a higher teeth sensitivity than one time in-office treatments using much higher strength of HP. All customers who participated have reported absolutely no sensitivity or pain resulted from drinking hot or cold drinks, breathing cold air or during brushing their teeth prior to whitening their teeth. The results did not surprise the Magic Smile management who noticed for a already long time that the numbers of complaints from customers who used Over the Counter whitening products were much higher than from those who participated in In-office one session bleaching.
